SCHOOL PROGRAM

We are working on a plan to put our school program on Youtube as a "Virtual Field Trip". We will advertise on our Facebook page and website when this is ready.

Our school program is curriculum based and approved by Parkland Public and Separate School Boards as well as Edmonton Public and Separate School Boards.

Grade 1: Self-guided tour "Living in the Past"

Grade 2: Founding Cultures and Crawling Insects (honey bees)

Grade 4: Alberta History

Grade 5: Depression Era "Making Do With What You Have" - French or English. Included is a workbook with a teachers' edition.

Grade 7: Canadian History

Multi Grade: Opportunities in Art - novice and advanced levels

We are very flexible and will modify as desired for time and content.

SENIORS' TOURS

We offer tours to groups of seniors in all seasons. We are wheelchair and walker friendly and can provide an interesting tour at any time of the year. The length of your tour and the topics and features can be tailored to suit your group. Bring your own lunch or we can cater a light lunch or snack for an extra fee. The tour is $5 per person.

Please note that we have a large open area with picnic tables which could be used for a "social distancing" type outing, where seniors can have a day out and eat a bagged lunch with minimal contact with people from outside their group.

Please contact the Museum office at 780-963-1234 for more information or to book.
