SUPPORT

GIVE

For online donations to the Pioneer Museum, individuals can visit our profile at Canada Helps, just enter the name of the Museum in the search bar and you will receive instructions on how to give. Canada Helps will issue you with a donation receipt for the full amount of your donation.

The Museum is also registered with Benevity, an organisation that streamlines corporate donations to non-profits.

We are currently raising funds through Fundscrip, the gift card fundraising site. To support the Museum through this, go to Fundscrip and click on the "Support a Group" button. Enter the group invitation code TTWCF7 and the website will walk you through the signup process. You can then pick gift cards from a list of dozens of stores and have them delivered directly to your home.

The Museum is registered with the Stony Plain Bottle Depot as a recipient of funds from bottle returns. When you bring in your refundables just ask the clerk at the depot to put the money on the Museum's account.

BECOME A VOLUNTEER

The Pioneer Museum relies very heavily on our volunteers, they are the lifeblood of our organisation! If you are interested in volunteering with us, call 780-963-1234. A staff member can talk with you about the opportunities available to find the best position for your interests and abilities.

ARTIFACT DONATIONS

All object donations are considered on an individual basis, however, we prefer pre-1950 items that have an interesting story or a connection to a person or place in Parkland County. If you have a historical object or document that you think would add to the Museum collection we would love it if you could email a photograph of it to info@pioneermuseum.ca. We can then let you know if we want the item. When you bring the item in to the Museum office you will need to fill out a form to transfer ownership to the Museum and we also would like to have all the information you have on the object as well as any stories connected to it.

WHERE IS THE MUSEUM?

The Pioneer Museum is located behind Heritage Park in Stony Plain. Look for the Don Gray Barn once you enter Heritage Park. Take the access road at the west side of the parking lot.
