Our Mission is to Collect, preserve and present our artifacts and stories for everyone.
The Pioneer Museum is preserving tens of thousands of objects for future generations and showing how rural life was for the people who built our communities. We keep alive our cultural heritage through demonstrations, field exhibits, displays, and hands on activities.
EDUCATION PROGRAMS
Bring History to Life
Step outside the classroom and into history at the Pioneer Museum!
Our curriculum-connected school programs give students the chance to explore local history through hands-on activities, historic buildings, artifacts and stories.
Programs include:
Grade 3 Social Studies
Settlers of Alberta: Challenges and Contributions
Grade 5 Science
Weather, Climate and Conservation Agriculture
Depression-Era Program
Recommended for Grade 5+
School visits are $10 per student.
